Going gluten free doesn't have to mean giving up delicious croutons on your caesar salad.
This recipe uses your favourite gluten free bread and just a handful of ingredients.
RECIPE
Serves: 4
Time: 10 mins.
INGREDIENTS:
6 slices of fresh gluten free bread of choice.
2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil, melted butter or ghee)
1 clove of garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp dried oregano ( or dried herbs of choice)
INSTRUCTIONS:
preheat oven to 375.
Mix together oil, garlic, herbs and salt.
Brush oil all over both sides of bread.
Cut into cubes of desired size.
Arrange on a lined baking sheet. (I line mine with parchment paper).
Bake for 10-12 minutes. If you like your croutons a little crispier, you can also turn your oven to broil and keep them under the broiler for a minute or 2.
Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
